Chloe & Kate

1. How did you meet?

We met on tinder in London when Kate lived there on her OE (from NZ) and chloe was working and living down there.

2. What made you choose Haarlem as your wedding venue?

We wanted something with an industrial feel with chloe being from Sheffield originally it reminds her of home.

3. What has been your favourite part of planning your wedding?

Favourite part of the planning was sending out the invites online to our nearest and dearest, now we live in New Zealand it’s been three years since we saw anyone so we were so excited to party with them all again!

4. Tell us a bit about your theme or colour scheme?

Our colour scheme were greens (olives and sage) with splashes of terracotta

5. What inspired you, have you made anything yourself or added any personal touches?

We printed out Polaroids of our engagement shoot and put them in vases around the dinning room, this was also used as our cake topper. People really seemed to love it and a few were taken home by people as mementoes.

6. What was the most memorable part of your wedding day?

We both agree our first look was our highlight, we hadn’t seen eachother all morning and kate had no idea what Chloe’s dress wouldn’t be like so that moment of finally getting to see each other was so magical. It also took some pressure off of walking down the aisle as we had already seen eachother and let some emotions out. We both felt so more relaxed and you can see our expressions are completly different after we had seen eachother, we both look so much calmer and happier! I recommend doing first looks before the ceremony!
