Claire & Tristan

On Thursday the 1st of August 2019 the team at Haarlem had the honour of hosting the wedding of Claire and Tristan, also known as the new Mr & Mrs McLocklin. It was a big day for everyone, especially little Buddy McLocklin who’s doggo mum and dad were tying the knot.

Claire and her bride tribe came to the venue at 10am to prepare for the day ahead, their beautiful dresses were created by the talented Karen Avenell. Whilst Tristan and his groomsmen got ready at home and arrived at the venue at 12pm in time to greet the guests as they arrived. The suits were purchased at Marks & Spencer but altered by Karen.

Guests had the chance to buy drinks in our upper lounge and mingle before they were seated for the ceremony. The registrars were ready to go at 1.30pm and Claire headed down the aisle to her soon-to-be husband. The day was blessed with sunshine so the wedding party made their way outside to have a confetti shot taken… and of course, one little four legged friend couldn’t miss out on the whole day, Buddy (the border terrier) joined the couple for a few photos on the terrace before dashing home again to relax in the garden. The day and all of it’s special moments were captured by the amazing Lee Garland (photographer) and Johnstone Wedding Films (videographer).

Stationary and signage was created by Attic & Alice who also provided all the props for the day, including some fantastic and original ideas, the ‘advice for the bride and groom’ wire frame prop was a favourite of ours. It was the first wedding for new business Attic & Alice and what a way to get started.

Gorgeous, as always, floral masterpieces were created by Tineke for both the bridal party bouquets and the room decorations.

The catering for the day (provided by our in house caterers Zest) was complimented by a tasty wedding cake from Studio Chocolate and an impressive cake of cheese which was made, delivered and presented by Delilahs. Their cake of cheese was cut and served as a cheeseboard for the evening guests, along with chutneys, crackers and fruit/veg crudites.

The day was filled with love and laughter and lots of food! A huge congratulations to Claire & Tristan, we wish you forever together, filled with happiness.
