Charlotte & Joe

Charlotte and Joe were joined by their family and friends on Saturday the 6th of July 2019 to celebrate their marriage. Charlotte arrived early to use the bridal suite with her bridesmaids, hairdresser and make-up artist. Of course, it wouldn’t be a real wedding without some real stress and poor Charlotte had some real stress. Two days before the big day she found out that the make-up artist she’d booked over a year in advance had double booked the date, leaving Charlotte without anyone to do her bridal make-up for her. What a nightmare. Well, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise as Makeup By Joseph Robertson came to the rescue. Along with hair stylist Linus Johansson and nail technician Carly Louise they made the bride feel as stunning as she looked, she stressed the importance of the team making you feel amazing on the day and how much kindness they showed her. Big shout out for team beauty!

Charlotte’s gorgeous dress was from Halfpenny London and her bridesmaids dresses were from Whistles, whilst the groom looked handsome in Hugo Boss and his ushers wore suits from Marks and Spencer.

The couple filled their day (and the venue) with some beautiful details provided by a number of amazing suppliers. On the day stationary (place cards, table plan, menu cards) were created by Amy Bailey Design, they also had signage created by The Rustic Wedding Company for ‘pick a seat not a side’, ‘welcome to our wedding’, guest book and ‘in loving memory’ for family members that have passed away.

The floral arrangements for the day were created by one of our recommended suppliers, Tineke and the lovely cake, looking good enough to eat (literally), was provided by The Melbourne Cake Company. There were beautiful balloons decorating the venue from Dottie & Love Balloons.

The bride and groom had thought of every guest when they decided on their favours - biscuits were baked by the same company that created the gorgeous wedding cake, and who doesn’t love a biscuit? There was also a little boozy option for those that like a drink, shot glasses and labels were made by Alleycat Designs which were then filled with a tipple by Charlotte and Joe. Not wanting to leave the kids out, they had goody bags made by Creative Feel Designs that they filled with child friendly treats for all the smaller party guests.

Making sure the evening music got guests on their feet, Bliss Wedding DJ… and mission accomplished, these guys were some of the best dancers we’ve seen all year!

Last, but most certainly not least, the entire day was captured on camera by the outstanding Kate Lowe Photography. We have shared some of her shots below, and we think you’ll agree, they are breathtaking.

Congratulations Charlotte and Joe, wishing you a forever of happiness! Haarlem x
