Matt & Cathryn

Matt and Cathryn married at Haarlem in 2021 (after some COVID related rescheduling) and we caught up with them to share a bit about their stunning, special day with you.

What made you choose Haarlem for your special day?

We chose Haarlem as it had an industrial style we were looking for and it had a great balance of indoor and outdoor space. We particularly liked the different levels of the venue which we felt worked really well for us on the day. We felt the venue could look fantastic when we considered how to dress it, based on our theme. The surrounding areas also gave us some excellent photographs which help us remember the day with such pride and joy.

What was your favourite or most memorable moment from your wedding day?

Our wedding was the first Saturday after restrictions were lifted and it was a huge relief for everyone to have some form of normality. The favourite bit was seeing all of our friends and family enjoying some time in the sunshine, eating, drinking and dancing into the evening. We wouldn’t have changed anything.
